No guarantees of work or benefits. Joining the SlabRiver consultant network does not guarantee assignment, minimum hours, or any ongoing engagement. Work is offered as contracts are awarded and your qualifications match client needs.
Consultants are responsible for their own insurance — including professional liability, general liability, and any coverage required for specific assignments. SlabRiver does not provide health insurance, workers' compensation, or other employee benefits to 1099 subcontractors.
U.S. citizenship and background checks. Due to the nature of our contracts — which serve critical infrastructure, government, and regulated sectors — team members must be United States citizens and must be able to pass a comprehensive background check when required by a specific assignment or client.

What You Could Be Deployed On
Compensation
Team members can expect compensation to be expressed for each assignment. Starting compensation is marked by assignment and varies based on scope, duration, and role requirements. Payment rates are issued as a daily rate, ranging from $500–$2,500 depending on certifications, role, and requirements. Team members are compensated per project, with payments net 30 from completion of work. Travel, food, and lodging are arranged by SlabRiver.
